I Celebrated Independents Day

Hi! Been a while. Still here, no worries!

I hope you all enjoyed a safe, fun, picnic-filled fireworksfest for your 4th of July celebration. From my balcony I could see multiple fireworks displays so my Monday evening (until the rain doused it all) was spectacular and temperate. A nice break after a busy week of private performances in NY and CT.

I got to enjoy some fireworks while driving around this weekend. While headed to Farmington, CT for a show on Saturday I was shaken when a Brinks Armored Car exploded a tire so close to me, the flying debris pinged off my windshield. Not to be boring, the return trip brought a burning car at the edge of the road with flames and smoke plume too thick to allow more than 10 feet visibility ahead of me. It all amounted to a battle zone in my mind, and a reminder of the joyful adventure of the INDEPENDENT!

Spent a couple beautiful days lounging, kayaking and hiking at Lake Sebago, NY as well – it isn’t all drama after all!
