Unity Worldwide Ministries honored Glen with the 2022 GraceNote Award to recognize his contributions to the New Thought Music Movement. Glen performed a brief concert after the presentation. Also receiving this honor (for the past two years when COVID prevented the event), Ricki Beyer played a wonderful set of uplifting music with guest singers she plucked from the event, and Harold Payne accepted his award with a remote video performance. All of this took place as part of the 17th Annual emPower Music Festival, and multiple parts of the event were live-streamed simultaneously to the emPower Music & Arts Facebook Page.

Three days later Glen, Judy Kass, and Amy Soucy (Us!) received a PosiAward from emPower Music & Arts in the Green Earth Category for their song, “We’ll Get There”. The GraceNote award ceremonies and performances of nominated songs and videos “Definitely feeling the love!” says Glen.

The PosiAwards are a songwriting awards event that recognizes writers for excellence in message-driven songwriting which matches the themes and categories specified for each event. Nominees who attend can perform their nominated songs live, often with support from the House Band which is co-directed by Glen Roethel and Carole Tomhave. The emPower Music Festival also features a keynote, classes, workshops, one-on-ones, concerts, showcases, open-mics, delicious meals, camaraderie with like-minded people, and comfortable housing.
