Join us for our annual concert with David Roth and his fellow instructors from the March edition of the Cape Cod Songwriters Retreat in Provincetown. This year we have DavidSloan WainwrightAlastair Moock, and Glen Roethel.

These evening are always fun, meaningful, creative, collaborative, surprising, and spontaneous so get your spots early for another amazing night of original music and well-traveled performers.

Orleans resident David Roth has written songs that have made their way to Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, the Kennedy Center, NASA’s Space Shuttle “Atlantis”, Peter, Paul, & Mary and Kingston Trio CDs (and 15 of his own), the Rise Up Singing and Rise Again songbooks, and countless venues in this and other countries and now other WORLDS) for three decades.

Defying standard categorization, singer/songwriter Sloan Wainwright, consistently demonstrates her easy command of a variety of American musical styles — pop, folk, jazz and blues all with a voice like you’ve never heard before. Her family tree (including brother and folk-music luminary Loudon Wainwright and nephew Rufus) reads like a who’s who of contemporary folk music.

Alastair Moock is an award-winning singer-songwriter; a Grammy-nominated family musician; a social justice and songwriting educator for all ages; and co-founder of The Opening Doors Project, an anti-racist music organization. The Boston Globe calls him “one of the town’s best and most adventurous songwriters” and The Washington Post says “every song is a gem.”

Glen Roethel is a one-of-a-kind artist, gifted vocalist, and wonderfully musical acoustic guitarist. His rich baritone-tenor, effortless fretting, and vibrant personality light up stages solo, in an ensemble, and when he accompanies others. He is an award-winning songwriter and a real crowd-pleaser, having electrified juried showcases for Folk Alliance, S.M.A.F., Falcon Ridge Folk Fest, Cape May Singer-Songwriter Fest, Posi Music Fest, and more. Glen sings memoirs, anecdotes, tender love songs, and anthemic calls for unity and empowerment. He is a beloved national PosiMusic artist, a popular instructor at SummerSongs songwriter retreats (summersongs.com), a record producer, and a sing-along master.
