The rain is teeming today – and we need it – but the damp gray chilly gloom that aches in my bones can’t deny the bright side. Nope. On this rainy day,
This Friday evening in Beacon, NY, Sloan Wainwright is challenging the laws of musical nature and releasing her second recording in one year! Bright Side Of A Rainy Day is a fun, thoughtful and always interesting collection of original songs
penned by Sloan, or co-written with any number of talented friends including her long-time collaborator, Stephen Murphy, but also including Jana Stanfield and Karen Drucker, for starters – and maybe even a healing, encouraging hopeful song (not on the record) that I share co-writing credits on 🙂
Do come to the show. Save a little money by reserving your seats in advance. Bring some friends. Have dinner! (Leave room for the delicious desserts!) And definitely take home autographed copies of Sloan’s beautiful new CDs. If you are a fan of mine you’ll be happy to hear that I do appear on both 😉
